Resetting Your Account Password

If you’ve forgotten your SmartCarePlus account password, follow these steps to reset it.


Step 1: Access SmartCarePlus

Visit the SmartCarePlus platform:

Step 2: Select Your User Type

On the onboarding page, choose your user type under the "I am a..." section:

Patient
Doctor
Lab Technician
Pharmacist
Hospital
Clinic
Diagnostic Lab
Medical Store


Step 3: Click "Login"

Scroll down to the "Get Started" section and click the Login button.


Step 4: Click "Forgot Password?"

On the login page, below the password field, click the "Forgot password?" button.


Step 5: Enter Your WhatsApp Number

On the Forgot Password page, enter the WhatsApp number linked to your account.

🔹 Important:
If you haven’t connected a WhatsApp number to your account, you cannot reset your password through this method.
To reset your password in this case, please contact the health facility that added you to SmartCarePlus.


Step 6: Click "Send OTP"

After entering your WhatsApp number, click the Send OTP button.


Step 7: Enter the OTP

You will receive a 6-digit OTP on your WhatsApp. Enter it in the OTP field.

🔹 Didn't receive the OTP?
Click the "Resend OTP" button to request a new one.


Step 8: Click "Verify OTP"

Once you've entered the OTP, click Verify OTP to proceed.


Step 9: View or Change Your Password

  • If the OTP is correct, you will see an option to change your password.
  • Your current password will also be displayed.
  • You can skip password change by clicking Cancel and continue using your current password.

Step 10: Enter a New Password

If you wish to change your password, enter a new password for your account.


Step 11: Click "Update"

Click the Update button to save your new password.


Step 12: Log in with Your New Password

Now, log in to your SmartCarePlus account using your WhatsApp number and new password.
